Our new uniquely hand-crafted patchwork dress, stitched with remnants of hand-dyed batik fabric from previous collections! Asaasa means bringing together different elements or fabrics, serving as a metaphor for interconnectedness in this world we all share.
A flowy and free dress that is oh so comfortable with a loose-fitting silhouette that features a scoop neckline and gathered tiers. Has pockets!
This dress is a short-sleeved version of the OSU Dress and the bodice sits a few inches under the bust line with its length drops down just past the knees at our regular length and around the ankles at longer length!
Easy to throw on and looks stunning with sneakers or sandals. Most definitely can be dressed up too.
Things to know:
- This is a small batch release as we have a limited amount of fabric scraps to make the patchwork (a wonderfully sustainable problem to have!) So we are hoping to meet demand but it may sell out quickly.
- The pre-order window ends on Wed. Feb 18th at 11:59 PM EST (or if we fully sell out before then)
- GREAT NEWS: Because this is a pre-order made for you, custom sizing is an option for those who are larger or smaller than our size guide! You can leave the measurements in the notes.

The Asaasa dress is so fabulous! I love the random assortment of fabrics in the one I received - it’s a completely different colour palette than the one shown on the model photos, which made it even more fun to admire upon opening. It is beautifully constructed (includes pockets) and I love the volume of the skirt.
This is the second dress I’ve bought from Batik Boutik, and I’m sure it won’t be the last. Shipping is extremely fast and customer service has been wonderful with any questions I’ve asked. Highly recommend supporting this beautiful business!
